While it isn't great how reliant players are likely to be on the wall of text in the readme if the in game info isn't going to be coming very soon it is probably worth putting it up on the blog now.

Been playing Union this morning. Lots of mech-blasting fun, good job. I made a few changes to the files, and if you like you can test it out before I release this (probably tomorrow, along with R9.3). Download. The changes: - Fixed the grass step sound, which was missing since I'd changed the material from organic to grass in an earlier version, and only the new material has an associated sound.
- Converted it to R9.3, which includes new features like object labels, explosive radius visualizations, and glowing primed explosives. Also the new priming interface.

Glad to see it up, and i like the blog post, you managed a very good run for your best though I haven't actually been playing my own mod that often so I can't say how hard it was to achieve. Though I would like to mention the description on the download page is a bit wrong- "on a world bordering Union-controlled space." actually they both share the same planet. I haven't included a massive amount of lore and really it isn't that interesting so it's an easy and minor mistake to make.

Oops, I'll change that description--thought it was perhaps a different planet. (I originally wrote "territory", I'll just change it back to that.) Yeah, that run was especially good. I'd have to say Union can be a very difficult mod if not careful, since those mechs have some heavy firepower and can take out scores of your guys in short order. I always come out in the positive, but sometimes just barely

Just a heads up: I came across a problem with the R9.3 release that required an immediate fix--an engine modification made font size changes impossible. Uploaded a new version, as well as an updated Union with the new .exe.
Unfortunately that means the few dozen people who've already downloaded the mod won't be able to change the font size until/unless they get the new version. Probably not a huge deal, just mentioning so you can have a copy of the latest version yourself.

FYI: In case you haven't noticed, some players have been popping up on the blog comments--might want to check them out.

I just don't want to post here about non-development gameplay; I figured these threads were for feedback related directly to the mod's development instead of about the mod in general.

Certainly, I agree. I just wasn't sure if strange guy was checking the blog post.

Minor update, it's now for 9.4, I merged the light sniper and carbine, fixed a few rubble in walls problems, made the shockers and mk8cs weapons a bit stronger and longer range, made what mode executors and mk8cs are part of their name and reduced the score loss for plasma trooper death a bit with them being short range and fragile. Heh, I see you've responded to Andrew's comment on the expensive plasma trooper Thanks for updating it--I'll upload the new version today. EDIT: I would have updated your mod to R9.4 myself, but the changes didn't affect anything in your mod so I didn't bother at the time.
