Nah, I'll just make them natural weapons. It'll be easier on me so I don't need another race for them ;p On the plus side, the undead now have a nice claw theme going on; the skeletons, shades and thralls all use claws to attack. And the knights are two-stage enemies; his mounted form, when he has higher TUs, and his unmounted form, which is still pretty formidable. He's the last enemy to spawn, alongside another wave of soldiers, so you'll probably end up missing him a lot.
*Knights and skeletons will now actually fight. They're the threats they were supposed to be now! *Knights now use lances until they are dismounted. Knights and human adventurers will use the superior longsword now. *Loot from the Graveyard and Thieve's Den is now superior to standard weaponry. Don't be fooled by their worn appearance!

You should add this and perhaps other notes about not-so-obvious things (the ones you do want the player to know, anyway) to the readme. That's one thing still sorely missing from the game: an easy way to access item stats for comparison etc. I'd like to add it, but at this stage of development it's too early. It'll be coming later.

Here ya go, an improved readme with a few more tips about gameplay. I also made the Blacksmith spawning a little less redundant; nobody wants to walk in there and find a pile of daggers and spears lying about. Attachments:

So is this your final version? The server was hacked and it's taking forever to fix it, so I can't/won't do anything with this just yet, but once the problem is resolved I'll be posting it on the blog.

Most of the issues I was having are now completely fixed, in no small part due to you, so I think I'm going to go ahead and call this the Final Version.

I accidentally downloaded the first version , which isn't a big deal, just a little hassle is all. (also, hello everyone)

Hey coolio,
You can get the latest public version from the X@COM blog files page. I put finished (+polished+decent) mods up there for everyone to download.
Andrew: So far Aggression's gotten 33 downloads from the main site in the past week, plus I'm sure several more from silent forum members who've signed up just to get unreleased mods early. The Cataclysm+ mod has gotten about 100 downloads.

If I could, I would, but you can't change attachments once you've made a post, otherwise I would have done so a while ago. Thanks for reminding me to update my signature, though ;p

Thanks for reminding me to update my signature, though ;p Yeah, it's odd they're missing that feature, but I think it may come along in the next version of proboards, currently in beta. For now you can update your OP with a link to the blog files page where the download is (I wouldn't suggest linking to the file itself, since I sometimes change the file location). Also, I can always delete the attachment from your OP. In fact, since it's outdated anyway I may as well do that now... (Perhaps as moderator I should just remove all old attachments, since the latest is all that matters anyway, unless someone has a reason they want to keep old versions around.)

I presumed to update the Mod to 8.4 (with some minor tweaks) - Magetower and burned mill
- Elder now has an additional Healspell (little better than the powder but much slower)
- One Grunt is replaced by a vargh (love those little buggers)

Ha, found a home for your mage tower, did you? What do you think about this, Andrew? Did you want to tweak or change anything else, and/or have me update the public version?

Go for it! If people are impressed enough by it to add their own content that just makes me feel better about myself. Thanks for keeping it alive, 10101!
EDIT: You mucked up the healing text. "Orc Archer heals {name}!"

Used the same text as the Medkit_Heal entry. Not sure what to do about it other then to remove the reference to the healer. Or is there a possibility to make that a "Ork Elder heals Ork Grunt." ?
